Dr. Joe Martin is an award-winning international speaker, author, educator, and certified "man builder". Dr. Martin teachers young people to become leaders in their community based on his life experience. He is the product of a single, teenage-mother and survived abject poverty, sexual and physical abuse, abandonment, anger, depression, rejection, and addiction. He now focus on helping people become the best versions of themselves through connection, community, and coaching. In this episode, Dr. Martin shares about his childhood and how important it is to reach out to a trusted adult. Later, Ayla and Hayes discuss the importance of having in their relationships.
