Being positive is a state of mind. It is not really the world that is cruel, it is ourselves who are doing all the negative thinking. There are always two sides of a coin. It is your choice whether you look at something negatively or positively. Having a positive mindset can really make a difference. Negativity only fosters more negativity. I know that being positive is hard, but it is a lot more satisfying and fulfilling compared to being negative.
