Mandy Manning was selected as the 2018 Washington State Teacher of the Year and the National Teacher of the Year. She’s an incredible educator who specializes in English language learners for refugee and immigrant students at Joel Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington. She strives to ensure her students feel welcome, wanted and loved, and works to instill in them the belief that they are worthy of every success and the happiness they dream.
