David Geurin is a principal and lead learner at Bolivar High School in Bolivar, Missouri. He earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Beyond his principalship, Geurin teaches graduate education classes for Southwest Baptist University and Regent University. In 2013, his school was named a National Blue Ribbon School and he was honored as principal of the year for his state. Additionally, he was recognized as a NASSP Digital Principal in 2017. Furthermore, Geurin is the author of a landmark book titled: “Future Driven” which focuses on empowering students to navigate an unpredictable world. In the episode, Geurin talks about compliance vs. empowered students, shares his vision for improving education, and challenges educators to use their unique gifts. Later, Brielle joins Audrey and Brayden as they reflect on teacher characteristics that they enjoy most.

Tom Thelen is one of America’s top anti-bullying speakers and the Founder of No Bullying Schools. He has spoken at over 500 schools and conferences inspiring groups of all ages to take responsibility for their choices and to make a positive impact on their local culture. He’s the creator of a social-emotional learning program called “Victimproof.” The program helps students take responsibility for their choices and create a positive culture at their school. Thelen has been on all major TV networks talking about bullying and helping students to “Be the Change” that they want to see. In this episode, Thelen talks about "Victimproof", shares his story of overcoming middle school bullying and encourages students to seek help from a trusted adult. Later, Brayden and Macey reflect on reporting bullying.
Brian Williams is a Kindness Ninja that has been practicing his craft of kindness since he was very young. Williams is a 4th degree black belt in martial arts. He is the founder of the company ThinkKindness that believes that even a small little act of kindness can have a ripple effect on a school and spread to a create a culture of kindness. He has spoken at over 250,000 students around the country and believes in not just coming to a school for a 1 hour assembly and leaving, he believes in spending time with the schools and creating a culture of kindness with a 15 day kindness challenge. He is inspiring youth to spread kindness in the little things that they do. In this episode, Williams discusses his life journey through martial arts and how that inspired him to create the kindness ninja movement. Later, Josh joins Taya and Brayden to discuss the idea of being a kindness ninja, practice mindset, and looking for kindness all around you.
